I bought a DSL-R camera in late 2008 before Abby was born. I reasoned that if I dropped the big bucks on a nice camera then I would never have to pay for professional photos. At first I used my camera the same way as a point-and-shoot. Over time my skills have grown and I have dedicated a blog to my growing portfolio. It's fun to look back and see how I have improved over the years.
